Ingredients

180g all-purple flour
216g sugar
6 large eggs
½ baking powder
A touch of oil or butter for brushing the Kuih Bahulu mold
3 to 5 tsp Suncore Foods® Ebony Carrot Powder
3 to 5 tsp Suncore Foods® Emerald Pandan Leaf Powder
3 to 5 tsp Suncore Foods® Purple Sweet Potato Powder
3 to 5 tsp Suncore Foods® Ruby Red Radish Powder

Directions

1. Baked sifted flour in a preheated oven at 428 F for 2-5 minutes.

2. Heat sugar and remove once it begins to melt. Then, pour sugar into eggs and mix well. Start with the lowest speed and increase speed gradually. Optionally, add vanilla paste to the batter. Add baking powder to flour and fold into the batter.

3. Separate the batter into 5 different bowl (the 5th bowl is the original color) and mix with Suncore Foods® Powders.

4. Heat mold with oil for at least 5 minutes at 392 F. Remove oil from the heated mold. Pour batter into it and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove kuih bahulu and brush oil into the mold before proceeding with the rest of the batter. Allow kuih bahulu to cool before storing them.
