15g sugar
85g butter
3-4 tbsp iced water
8g Suncore Foods® Midori Jade Matcha Powder dissolved in water
Pinch of salt

Filling:
8 small apples, peeled & sliced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp salt
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Directions

1. Filling — Combine all filling ingredients and set aside.

2. Pie Crust — Place flour, sugar and salt into a food processor and pulse a few times to combine. Add cold diced butter and pulse the mixture until coarse crumbs form with some pea-sized pieces then stop mixing.
Add water, Suncore Foods® Midori Jade Matcha Powder, and pulse just until moist clumps or small balls form. Transfer dough to a clean work surface, and gather dough together into a ball (do not knead the dough). Divide dough into 2. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 mins.

3. Preheat the oven to 200c.

4. Roll out the chilled pie dough. Fill with apple filling. Roll out the remaining dough. Cut dough into strips and lattice.

5. Lightly brush the pie with milk. Sprinkle the top with coarse sugar. Bake pie at 200c preheated for 15 mins. Turn the temperature down to 180c for an additional 35-45 mins or until golden brown.
